Lumumba arrested, then released after “F..k You Mugabe” outburst

Acie Lumumba
Insulting President Robert Mugabe and getting away with it is a taboo and unheard of in many years of the history of Zimbabwe. The country has seen people getting arrested for suggesting that Mugabe is old and he must retire and leave politics for the young ones to take the country forward.

Linkundla is stunned at observing that young politician, Acie Lumumba, a former Zimbabwe Youth Council leader was whisked away by police who took him in for questioning and released him after using an “F” word insulting His Excellence, Head of State about the state of his head amidst the crunch situation Zimbabwe is going through at the launch of his Viva Zimbabwe political party .

His bravery is scary and could be applauded for a young politician to stand up and challenge the biting situation the country is going through, however the way police dealt with him afterwards shows that it was a well planned prank aimed at testing the gullibility of the people with an intention to lure the young voters who might be anti status quo.

Lumumba is featuring as the solution and a hero whose confidence will woo many people to come open and hull insults at the state institutions and therefore making it easy forLumumba's paymasters to deal with opposition and crush the malcontents that can derail corroded Zanu PF train which is moving very fast into a dungeon.

Lumumba is the former chairman of Zimbabwe youth council that was accused of marginalising young people who were perceived as opponents of Zanu PF in the empowerment drive that government embarked on several years ago.The smooth-talking Lumumba who recently quoted controversy when his pornographic video leaked online, accused Mugabe of murder and undermining Zimbabweans' future. "In politics the are red lines you do not cross; you don't cross the red line and start killing people, you don't destroy people's families, you don't take their future, you don't destroy the future of the young men and women for your personal gain.

Lumumba added that he would not apologise  for belonging to Zanu PF at one time but attacked the ruling party for giving false promises to the people. He admitted to being corrupt while he was still a Zanu PF member, adding that he would not seek a government position in the future. "Imagine I was 23 years when I was given the whole province to run with a million dollar budget, what was I supposed to do with this? "And before you know it, you ask for a car, then you get a truck, and you ask for a Benz before you know it yatouya (It has been delivered), and before you know it you are gone-consumed by corruption."

Linkundla realises that the whole country is watching this stage play of Acie Lumumba and hope it will scoop NAMA Award when the event of rewarding comes. The directors of the stage play also deserve an Oscar Award following the discovery and nurturing of a raw talent in form of Acie Lumumba.
